Cham Am is another popular beach resort area of Thailand. It is a few miles from the larger and more popular resort of Hua Hin and a two hour drive West of Bangkok. It is slightly closer to Bangkok than Hua Hin.

Cha Am has plenty of hotels on the beach but it tends to be a bit more rocky than the long, sandy beaches of Hua Hin, and with much of the latter being fully developed, space for further development can be found at Cha Am.

There are fewer Hotels in Cha Am than in Hua Hin but they are no less luxurious and some real gems such as The Veranda can be found there, and even though some Cham Am hotels are located on more rocky beaches, The Veranda and a few others offer private and pristine, white, sandy beches.
